Registered Cadastral Surveyor

O’Ryan Geospatial is a young, dynamic and rapidly growing Company located in the beautiful rural township of Mudgee, NSW,
nestled in the hills just 3 hrs drive from Sydney.

We are seeking a Registered Cadastral Surveyor to join our team of Surveyors, Survey Technicians and Town Planner.

The ideal candidate for this position will have already achieved registered status, with at least 5 years experience.

The position is here for an ambitious, dynamic surveyor looking for an opportunity to set themselves up for the future, in one of the most desirable towns in NSW.



Key responsibilities may include:   

At a senior level you will lead survey teams on multiple projects and you will be responsible for delivering the spatial requirements of the projects
Ensuring legislation compliance and quality assurance
Provide wholistic mentoring on spatial science concepts and methods
Maintaining survey equipment
Preparation of all types of survey plans
Preparing clear and concise assessments and reports
Liaison and negotiation with a range of internal and external stakeholders and developing site relationships
Participate in our safe working culture



Desirable experiences will include:

Working on subdivisions, RMS roads, private and government projects
Engineering, cadastral, survey control, monitoring and detail surveys
Team Management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge and understanding of legislation, systems, procedures and technology
Excellent eye for detail and attention to accuracy
Effective time management and planning
Ability to comply with mine site requirements
Clean driver licence
