Head Chef / Sous Chef / Cook
$50k to $60K Annual Salary
Flexible / rotating rosters, Food handling certification, Weekend and after hours work required
Head Chef/Sous Chef/Cook - Permanent role available for the right person
We are looking for another cool, hip chef to join our great kitchen team.
You will be working with a fun team, lead by our restaurant manager/chef at Eltons, in the heart of Mudgee at Eltons | Bar + Bites
We operate from Tuesday to Saturday and as a full-timer, you will get a guaranteed two days off each week.
There are no early morning starts, our doors open at 11:30, so we rock up at 10'ish, for a coffee before getting stuck into things! There will be the occasional early starts for long weekends + special events in the future.
Your role helps oversee the daily kitchen operations, cover leave while our chef is doing other roles, assist with stock rotation, ordering, food prep + service. As part of our small team, we also encourage your input into our seasonal menu, cocktails lists + more.
There is also the opportunity to work on some amazing upcoming future events.
As an added bonus, if you have FOH experience + would like to jump out the front from time to time, we really want to meet you.
A generous salary package is offered, based on your experience and skill levels. Plus we include meals + regular social events and may be able to assist if you need to relocate to Mudgee.
