Mudgee Sourdough (by olive.a.twist) is looking for someone fabulous to join our jovial and hard working team as BAKER.
Hours are approximately Tuesday to Friday - 430am till 1130 and Saturday 4am till 8am.
Occasional shop work on the odd Saturday would be appreciated to give our Shop Manager a break. This would be 8 - Midday (following on from baking and working with a Junior for assistance).
Flour weighing and dough mixing.
Dough fermentation, shaping and proving.
Daily delivery to wholesale clients.
Baking (Saturdays) with our new MIWE Deck oven (3 deck).
Some commercial kitchen experience and working knowledge of a high standard of food hygiene - we are happy to train the right person in the finer art of sourdough bread. Preference will be given to trade qualified Chefs or Bakers.
The ability to lift over 15kg, be physically fit and have no prior injuries that may prevent you working to capacity.
Double Vaccination Certificate
Start ASAP in order to have hand over with the current Baker/Chef.
Remuneration will be per the award and based on experience. Initial rate will be slightly lower to allow for training (if required) and there will be a probation period.

This role will be in our commercial kitchen in a big winery at Apple Tree Flat - 15km from town.
