Overview
First Ridge Wines Vineyard and Cellar Door lies on ancient rocky ridges just south of Mudgee, NSW. Nestled in the hills of the Central Ranges at an altitude 600m, our location offers spectacular views and is the perfect home to our Italian varietals which love their hillside location.
Our premium range includes Barbera, Sangiovese, Montelpuciano, Vermentino, Fiano, Sangiovese Rosé and Pinot Grigio as well as highly regarded Prosecco and Frizzante.
Our award-winning wines are true to their heritage, offering a vibrant and exciting varietal range with each wine having its own unique offering, personality, and story and like all good Italian wines they match well with food.
Our passion and dedication for creating outstanding wines is evident through every stage of winemaking, from the grape to the glass, which brings great enjoyment to the drinker and recognition from peers and judges alike.
For us, winemaking is a wonderful balance between science and art with the careful balancing of viticultural and wine making skills. Our highly regarded Viticulturist, Colin Millott and Winemaker James Manners work in close collaboration to respectively produce the highest quality, fruit and wines, year after year.
